Accuracy before promotion

Calculator content should help people understand an estimate without overstating certainty, expertise, or independence.

Sources and claims

Sources are selected for relevance to the implemented method: official agencies and standards bodies first, then primary research or established technical references. A source is not added merely because it concerns the same broad topic. CalmCalc does not invent reviewer credentials, endorsements, user counts, or accuracy guarantees.

Reviewed content inventory

Only calculator pages with page-specific purpose, assumption, verification, and source review are eligible for search indexing or advertising. Additional functioning tools may remain accessible through an existing direct URL, but they are removed from primary navigation, excluded from the sitemap, marked not for indexing, and excluded from advertising until their individual editorial review is complete.

High-impact topics

Health tools are educational or screening aids, not diagnosis or treatment. Finance and tax tools are estimates and must state jurisdiction or timing when those factors affect the result. Construction and engineering estimates do not replace site-specific design, code compliance, or professional safety review.

Advertising separation

Ads may fund operation of the site, but advertisers do not control tool selection, formulas, results, sources, or editorial conclusions. Search, error, legal, navigation-only, and unreviewed calculator pages are not advertising inventory. Sponsored claims will not be presented as neutral methodology.

Corrections and review

Each reviewed calculator displays its content-review date. Substantive corrections should identify what changed and prompt review of related tests and pages. Attribution to a named professional is added only after a real person has performed and agreed to that review.
